Ok, ich habs geschafft! Der Test ist gemacht und ich denke ich habe ihn auch ohne Probleme bestanden. Wir sind am Freitag abend erst gegen 1 Uhr nachts im Hotel angekommen, so dass ich nur ein paar Stunden Schlaf hatte, bis ich morgens dann an der Uni sein musste. WAr alles total chaotisch, Leute ueberall und niemand wusste so richtig wohin wir mussten. Nachdem sich das erste Chaos aber gelegt hatte war es recht straight forward. Sass mit etwa 50 Leuten in einem Raum und von 9:30 Uhr bis 12:30 Uhr wurde der schriftliche, hoer- und lesetest durchgefuerht. Nicht schwer aber manchmal etwas tricky. Man musste schon genau zuhoeren. Ab 13 Uhr waren dann die Interviews angesagt. 14 Minuten lang musste ich mich mit einem Lehrer unterhalten ueber Gott und die Welt. Easy. Das ganze war um 14 uhr zuende und ich bin direkt wieder ins Hotel, da ich supermuede war nach all dem Stress:-) Es gab diese komischen Automaten, um Taxis zu bestellen an der Uni! Dauerte dann auch "nur" 20 Minuten bis endlich eines auftauchte!

Haben dann am Nachmittag den Pool und die Gym im Hotel getestet und gefaulenzt. Brisbane ist ne relativ langweilige und kleine Stadt, so dass es auch nicht viel zu gucken gab. Sind dann abends essen gegangen und kurz ins Casino, wo ich aber nur 20 Dollar gesetzt aber auch glatt verloren habe.

Sonntag bin ich dann ein wenig in der Stadt rumgelaufen und Carla hat sich mit einer alten Schulfreundin getroffen, die mit Kind angereist kam..Archi.

Mel hat uns dann ein wenig mit dem Auto rumgefahren dann sind wir noch was essen gegangen und dann auch schon zum Flughafen gefahren, da es geregnet hat und es dann auch egal war, wo wir rumsitzen. Gegen 21:30 waren wir dann wieder in Melbourne und es waren 4 Grad, was fuer hier sehr wenig ist! Schlimmer ist es wenn man gerade aus Brisbane gekommen ist, wo es 23 Grad waren..brrr.. Naja, war dann auch froh wieder zuhause zu sein und bin gleich wieder in den Alltag. College gestern und ein Zahnarztbesuch, der mir sagte, dass ich 2 Loecher habe, die gestopft werden muessen und ich auch eine Paradontose Behandlung brache.Klasse! Und das wo ich doch so "gerne" zum Zahnarzt gehe. Mir bricht schon der Schweiss aus:-)
Heute bin ich im Buero und dann nacher im Hotel arbeiten. Kann nur hoffen das es eine ruhige Nacht wir. Mir ist nich nach Stress. Ok meine Pause ist um. Drueck EUch alle und bin ja auch bald schon da..
Hi everybody, I made it!!!! Have been to Brisbane last weekend to do the english test and think I passed it no probs. Was a bit tricky in between but as long as you used common sense (which I dont have a lot of, but enough for this:-)) it was ok. As we didn'T arrive till 1am in the morning on friday night and i had to be at the univerity by 8:30 in the morning you can imagine that I was just tired..After the test I went back to the hotel and Carla and I hung around the room for the rest of the arfternoon as couldn't be bothered to go anywhere. Checked out the pool and the gym and then went out for dinner at Brisbanes Southbank. Not very spectacular but the food was good. Afterwards we went to the casino and had a bit of a gamble for a while but as both still tired and after loosing some money we went back to the hotel and went straight to sleep. Nannas!
I as so glad to be able to sleep in on sunday and didn't move till 11am. Ordered some roomservice breakfast and lazied around. Carla cought up with an old schoolfriend of hers and I went for a walk to dicvocer Brisbane CBD..Not much to dicsover tho and after it started pissing down with rain I went back to meet the girls in the hotellobby. Mel, Carlas friend, took us for a drive and showed us some of Brisbane surroundings. So at least we have seen something:-) Our flight left at 7pm and when we arrived in Melbourne (Avolon!!) at 10pm it was freezing 3 deegrees cold! And we just came back from 23 in Brisbane..Not nice I tell you..Ah well, so am back to normal now..working and had my last day of study today so will be able to work fulltime from next week onwards.I will get the results of the test in 2 weeks and if I am lucky might get my permanency granted even before leaving Australia in July. Fingers crossed!!
